Raccoon Notes (My Notepad)
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Raccoon Notes (My Notepad) application and related services (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Raccoon Notes is a note-taking application. It lets you create and organize notes, folders, checklists, reminders, and attachments (images and voice recordings). All data is stored locally on your device by default. The following features are optional and only operate when you explicitly enable them:
Synchronization requires creating an account or signing in with a supported provider (such as Google or Yandex). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account and all associated server data at any time from within the app.
If you choose to connect Google Drive, the Service requests only the limiteddrive.file scope, which grants access solely to the files the app itself creates in your Google Drive. The Service does not read, manage, or delete other files in your Google account.
Raccoon Notes' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Files stored in your Google Drive remain in your personal account; we do not have access to them.

The Deluxe version and subscriptions are purchased through Google Play or RuStore, and donations are processed through the applicable payment provider. Payments are handled by these platforms under their own terms; we do not collect or store your payment card data. Subscription status is used only to provide access to premium features. Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform through which you made the purchase.
You retain all rights to the content you create with the Service (your notes, media, and other data). We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for the content you store and for maintaining your own backups using the app's export function.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is stored and handled.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are encouraged to keep your own backups.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. Upon account deletion, associated data on the sync server is removed.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
